Private Lessons
Whether you're a beginning, intermediate or advanced student, private lessons with supportive and motivating instructor are the best way to develop your skills. In a personalized process focused on students' individual needs, Lucy Moses School staff consult with new students to make sure they're matched with the teacher best suited to their skill level, goals and schedule.
Private lessons are offered in cello, clarinet, double bass, flute, French horn, guitar (all styles), oboe, percussion, piano (classical, jazz, musical theater), recorder, saxophone, trumpet, viola, violin, voice (all styles) and theory/composition. Lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

Parents of children and teens should contact Scott Taylor, LMS Young People's Division Manager, at 212 501 3360 or staylor@kaufman-center.org. Children register for 30-weeks of lessons from September to June and are eligible to enroll in our Music Certificate Program.
Adult students should contact Alicia Andrews, LMS Assistant Director and Adult Division Manager, at 212 501 3360 or aandrews@kaufman-center.org. Adults register for 7 or 14 weeks of lessons at a time, and registration is open year-round.

In a partnership created to provide excellent music education for Queens residents, Lucy Moses School offers an after-school music program at Frank Sinatra High School for the Arts in Long Island City, Queens. This program is open to the public. For more information please call 212 501 3360.
