The Four Stop Tour: Symphonic Potential

Sunday, February 08, 2009 7:30 pm

The final stop on the Four Stop Tour culminates with chamber music. Whether it is the flashy collision of two pianos (Duo Canti), the warmth of Middle English set for three voices (Three Medieval Lyrics), rhapsodic virtuosity exploiting an instrument’s potential (The Allure of a Forgotten Carrousel), or emotional potency in small forms (Two Poems by John Keats) this event exposes the symphonic capabilities of chamber ensembles. The first piece, Duo Canti, will be performed again at the end for a second hearing.
