The Passion and Promise of Youth
A program inspired by two rapidly-emerging artists at the threshold of major careers, both of them NYFOS favorites: mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke and tenor Paul Appleby. Songs about new beginnings in life, love, and art by Busoni, Strauss, Bernstein, Schubert, and many others. Steven Blier and Michael Barrett are the pianists.
