"The festival may be the most reliably excellent musical organization in New York. What orchestra, ensemble or opera company can make every show so special or count on such meticulous research, such infallible humor and such a sure sense of style?” - Newsday
New York Festival of Song creates intimate song concerts of great beauty and originality, weaving music, poetry, history and humor into unforgettable evenings of compelling theater, entertaining, educating and creating community among performers and audiences in a spirit of shared adventure. It was founded by Steven Blier and Michael Barrett, who now act as the artistic directors.
Each performance will be followed by a wine reception with the artists.
