Jazz Improvisation and Harmony (Intermediate)
By learning to recognize and use scales, advanced chord voicing and the basic harmonic progressions used in jazz, instrumental and vocal jazz students construct solos and develop their own repertoire.
The class also concentrates on developing the students' knowledge of their instruments and their technique using jazz exercises developed by Barry Harris. The course includes performance opportunities and most meetings include jam sessions.

Prerequisites: Introduction to Jazz or equivalent experience
