Jazz Improvisation and Harmony (Intermediate)
This class is an excellent preparation for Jazz Ensemble, providing you with an in-depth look at the harmonic structure of jazz standards with emphasis on applications for improvisation. Melodic ideas based on the bocabulary of jazz giants will be explored and rhythm adn the ability to incorporate the blues emphasized. Each session will include ample time for jam sessions to put concepts into practice.
