Andrew Hadro, Saxophone, Flute
Andrew Hadro was born in Mexico City and spent his childhood in Sao Paulo. He moved to the Chicago area in 1991, where he began his musical studies on the flute and baritone saxophone. He is a recent graduate from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. Andrew has performed with the Duke Ellington Orchestra, James Moody, the Bjorkestra, Chico Hamilton, and currently tours with the Junior Mance Quintet. He is active in the New York music scene and involved in several projects including performances with his own ensembles. He is currently on the faculty of the Litchfield Jazz Camp and teaches private lessons at the Frank Sinatra High School of the Arts, as part of a Lucy Moses School outreach program.
