Parking
Metered street parking is available, but not plentiful, on all side streets. There are also parking garages on 66th and 68th Street., both between Broadway and Amsterdam. We do not offer valet service or handicapped parking.
Icon Parking, located at 201 W. 66th St. (corner of Amsterdam Ave.), offers discounted rates to Kaufman Center staff, students and concertgoers:
• $10 (credit card only) for any 12 hours for all KC, LMS, and SMS constituents (bring your parking ticket to our front desk and have it stamped for validation)
• $10 (credit card only) for any 6 hours for all Merkin Concert Hall patrons (must have ticket validated by the house staff)

From Long Island
Take Long Island Expressway to Midtown Tunnel. Follow signs to Uptown/West Side and go cross-town at 34th St. to 8th Ave. Turn right onto 8th Ave. and continue to 59th St. Turn right onto Columbus Circle, making another right onto Broadway. Take Broadway to W. 67th St. and turn left. Kaufman Center is on the right side of the street.
From Southern New Jersey
From Lincoln Tunnel: take the exit on the left toward 40th St. and North. Turn left onto W. 42nd St. Turn right onto 10th Ave. (turns in to Amsterdam Ave.), continuing all the way to 65th St. Turn right onto W. 68th St. Turn right onto Broadway. Turn right onto 67th St. Kaufman Center is on the right side of the street.
From Holland Tunnel: follow signs to Exit 1 (Uptown and Canal St.) into Laight St. Follow Laight St. to West Side Highway (Joe DiMaggio Highway). Follow to 56th St., staying to the right after 42nd St. Turn right onto W. 56th St. Turn left onto 11th Ave. (turns into West End Ave.). Turn right on W. 70th St. Cross Amsterdam Ave., continuing on 70th St. Turn right onto Broadway. Turn right onto 67th St. Kaufman Center is on the right side of the street.
From Northern New Jersey
Take I-95 North/US-9 North/US 1 North. This becomes I-95 North/Upper Level George Washington Bridge/US-9. Take the Henry Hudson Parkway/178th St. exit. Follow signs to Henry Hudson Parkway South/West Side Highway (Joe DiMaggio Highway). Merge onto Henry Hudson Parkway South. Take the W. 79th St. (Boat Basin) exit. Follow the circle and exit onto 79th St. Turn right onto West End Ave., heading south. Turn left onto 72nd St. Turn right onto Broadway. Turn right onto 67th St. Kaufman Center is on the right side of the street.
From Southern Connecticut

Travel south to get onto Route 9 South (from Saw Mill Parkway). Route 9 becomes Henry Hudson Parkway South/West Side Highway (Joe DiMaggio Highway). Take Henry Hudson Parkway South to the W. 79th St. (Boat Basin) exit. Follow the circle and exit onto 79th St. Turn right onto West End Avenue, heading south. From Rockland County/Upstate New York
Take New York State Thruway south to Palisades Parkway south to the George Washington Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow signs to Henry Hudson Parkway South/West Side Highway (Joe DiMaggio Highway).
