________________________________________

Wendy Mosler has been a constant presence in the Kaufman Center community since 1999. Despite having, as she describes it, “no personal background in music or music education,” she has become a passionate advocate for the importance of music education for all children. Wendy’s children, David and Charlotte, began taking classes at Lucy Moses School as preschoolers. The faculty and staff at Kaufman Center has had the pleasure of watching as they develop into skilled musicians and delightful young adults, now 17 and 12 years old.

Wendy holds a B.A. degree in Management Science/Accounting from Duke University. She is a Vice President at Eastgate Realty Corp and Executive Vice President of Miller Global Properties, LLC with primary responsibility for acquisitions and finance for U.S. real estate assets. In 2004 Wendy became a member of Kaufman Center’s Board of Trustees and has since joined the Lucy Moses School Advisory Board, focusing her leadership on the School.

Wendy has already left a lasting mark on Kaufman Center. She has been the driving force in the creation of the intermediate level Lucy Moses Chamber Orchestra as well as the Summer String Festival, which is entering its fourth year. She continues to support scholarships to ensure that music education can reach even more deserving students.

She, her children, and her husband, Bruce Mosler, Chairman of Cushman and Wakefield, Inc., live on the Upper West Side.
