Planned Giving

The Virtuosi Society

Your commitment today can keep the music playing for years to come. Donors who include Kaufman Center in their estate plans ensure the Center's long-term stability. We founded the Virtuosi Society to honor these friends who have committed to making a legacy gift of any size through a number of planned giving options.

Legacy gifts build the Center's endowment, a fund which is invested to provide long-term support to all of the programs at Merkin Concert Hall, Lucy Moses School and Special Music School. As a Virtuosi Society member, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to ensure the future of arts education and the performing arts — beyond your lifetime.

Your Lifetime Membership Benefits Include:

•  Invitations to special receptions, events, and concerts
•  Public recognition of your membership (unless you chose to remain anonymous)
• A deeper involvement with the life of Kaufman Center

Ways to Leave Your Legacy

You will find that planned giving is a way to support Kaufman Center while benefiting you, your family members and your heirs; for example, by protecting assets that might otherwise be lost to estate, income, or capital gains taxation.

There are many ways to leave your legacy to Kaufman Center:

•  Will bequests
•  Gifts of real estate
•  Gifts of life insurance
•  Lifetime income gifts
•  Charitable lead trusts

The Development Department staff is available to answer questions about gift planning or meet with you for a confidential discussion of your estate plans at any time. For more information, or to schedule a meeting, please call 212 501 3350 or email development@kaufman-center.org.
