The New York Times Reviews Sxip Shirey & Angélica Negrón's Ecstatic Music Fest Performance

On Tuesday night, the 2012 Ecstatic Music Festival continued with its second performance of the season, featuring Sxip Shirey, Angélica Negrón, Face The Music, Todd Reynolds, Noveller and Jonny Rodgers. 

Of the evening's collaboration between Shirey and Negrón, Allan Kozinn of The New York Times stated, "'Asa Nisi Masa' was an entrancing exploration of timbre and fragmented melody, with Ms. Negrón switching among accordion, glockenspiel and breathy vocalizations, and Mr. Shirey playing guitar and bells."
