Ecstatic Music Fest performers yMusic Featured in The New York Times!

The chamber sextet yMusic, which will make its Ecstatic Music Festival debut alongside Son Lux and Arcade Fire's Richard Reed Parry tomorrow night, was featured in this past weekend's New York Times. 

On the sextet, Ecstatic Music Festival curator Judd Greenstein stated, "What yMusic is doing is bridging a gap between two contemporary practices, a contemporary vernacular and a contemporary classical. It’s very satisfying to work with people who know the performance practice, where you don’t have to try to write that into your score. You can write what you’re thinking."
