Student Discounts

Merkin Concert Hall offers student discounts for concerts in the following Kaufman Center series:

New York Guitar Festival: $15 (regular price $25)

Ecstatic Music Festival: $15 (regular price $25)

Tuesday Matinees: $9 (regular price $17)

Student discounts are often available for other concerts. Please check concert event pages for details.

Student tickets are available in person at the Box Office only. A valid student ID is required.

Senior Discounts

Ticket Discounts
Kaufman Center offers seniors 62+ ticket discounts for many concerts in Merkin Concert Hall and
Ann Goodman Recital Hall. Click here to view a full list, or call the Box Office at 212 501 3330.

Senior tickets must be purchased in person at the Box Office.

Class Discounts
Seniors 62+ receive a 10% discount on classes and group lessons in music, dance and theater at Kaufman Center's Lucy Moses School, New York's largest community arts school. This discount does no apply to private lessons.

Lucy Moses School student discounts

Ticket Discounts
Lucy Moses School Adult Division students may purchase $20 tickets (regular price $25) to the New York Guitar Festival and Ecstatic Music Festival.

Student tickets are available in person at the Box Office only. A valid student ID is required.

Practice rooms
Adult Division and Young People's Division students are eligible for discounted rental rates for studios and practice rooms. Click here for more information or call 212 501 3308.

Young People's Division student discounts

• Dalcroze class attendees receive a 10% discount on any additional dance classes taken
• Dance class attendees receive a 15% discount for taking two dance classes per week
• Dance class attendees receive a 20% discount for taking more than two dance classes per week
• Students enrolled in private lessons receive a tuition reduction when enrolling in ensemble and theory classes

Adult Division student discounts

• Students enrolled in private lessons in Jazz receive a discount on Jazz group classes
• Students enrolled in Sight-Singing or Nashir! The Rottenberg Chorale receive a discount on Theory classes
